Proton Preve accident? How come? Take a look what Proton Edar said:  

We would like to address concerns regarding pictures of a damaged Proton Prevé circulating on the web.

At around 4.45pm yesterday, one of our sales advisors was involved in an accident while driving from Jalan Sentul towards Jalan Pahang in KL, when the Proton Prevé that he was driving hit a divider and landed awkwardly causing the lower arm to break.

While we're happy to report that our sales advisor is unhurt, our test-drive unit, however, was damaged as a result of the accident. So, remember to buckle up and drive safe because accidents can happen - to anyone and to any car.

Maybe the sales advisor is too excited with the CFE until forgot everything. But some anti Proton people outside say Proton s**k, F**k Proton etc. Ok I'll tell you all what cause the problem

Maybe some assemblers in there "curi material" (which means like example: boss ask u add 1KG cement on the floor but you only put 800g, then you took another 200g to sell it or Airline company asked you to replace metal on the plane, but you only use metal sheet to cover the damage, took the metal and sold it). This may hurt many people, and hurting the company. Maybe China had many people that is "curi material"

Volkswagen earmarks Polo for Proton remodelling

A Proton-badged Volkswagen Polo for RM70,000, anyone? According to a Business Times report, Volkswagen AG has identified the B-segment Polo as the best fit for Proton, and has formed a special team headed by operations head for Asia Pacific, Soh Wei Ming, to look into the possibility of remodeling the Polo as a Proton.
DRB-Hicom, Proton’s new owner, is of course Volkswagen’s local partner for CKD operations. The Polo is currently sold in Malaysia as a CBU import, and retails for RM113,888 in 1.2 TSI guise.
The report says that the plan put forward by VW to DRB-Hicom would see a locally-made Polo “priced competitively at below the RM70,000 mark”. No mention of it, but the Polo in question could well be the Polo Sedan, too.
It was revealed that some VW directors have visited the Proton plant and reviewed the national carmaker’s existing products. A meeting in Hong Kong last month between Soh and DRB-Hicom’s chief operating officer, Datuk Lukman Ibrahim followed, and it was then that the Polo project was proposed.

So if BT is to be believed, Proton is about to take a path similar to the one Skoda took in the early 90s. The Czech brand was then the butt of many a motoring joke, but thanks to VW hardware and know how, it’s now profit making company selling over 800k units globally. For those who don’t need a VW badge, Skodas offer the same good stuff at lower prices, a successful formula.

I think if Proton rebadged Polo for sure equipped with 1.2 TSi engine or Campro. What will the name be? When will it come out? Stay tuned.

Proton P3-21A completely shown off!!!

This Proton P3-21A headlights looks abit like Bugatti lights










Some would have already seen this pic circulating on the Net. It shows a silver-coloured Proton P3-21A, without an inch of disguise on it. Although partially blocked by an attempt preventing the cameraman from getting a clean shot, we still get to see a fair bit of the upcoming sedan.

Remember this leaked shot of the yellow coloured P3-21A from last year? Well, this latest revelation confirms that what we’ve seen before is final – the headlamp design, the strip of daytime running lights underlining it, the bumper design and the grille seen here match the yellow car’s.



By the way, this is a departure from the face of the Tuah concept shown at KLIMS 2010. For instance, the bottom edge of the headlamps now join seamlessly with the grille, as opposed to the ‘W’ shape of the concept.
The lower bumper intakes now contribute to the ‘X’ shape look, compared to the ‘U’ of the concept. The same change was also made to the current gen Toyota Camry – facelift introduced the ‘X’ face.

Previous leaked shots also show a rear end that differs from the Tuah concept’s connected single piece “cyclops” look. We’ve also seen the upcoming C-segment sedan’s dashboard before – it’s neat and safe and in design, not likely to polarise opinions.

What we can see from the car’s profile are multi spoke alloys, wing mirrors with indicators, a rising belt line and a prominent feature line. The front wheel arches look rather swelled, too. I think that this design would be great if workshops and bodykit shops can sell concept bodykits. Yes, designed by Italdesign.


How can you get premium featured-car with just only RM70k ++? Other car like Kia, Toyota, Forte etc. also don't have these premium features, yet expensive.

Sementara itu, saya sempat menyampaikan pendapat komentar-komentar di internet dan blog kepada pihak atasan Proton secara individu, yang mana Proton kurang membuat pengiklanan dan promosi di Television tentang kelebihan dan ciri-ciri yang ada dalam kereta-kereta Proton. Pihak atasan Proton menerima pendapat tersebut dan susulan segera akan diambil. Terima kasih kepada yang memberikan pendapat dan maklum balas.

Secara keseluruhan dan peribadinya, saya amat berpuas hati dengan ciri-ciri yang diberi. Dari segi reka bentuk, saya yakin ramai akan berpuas hati. Dan secara keseluruhan, semua ciri-ciri (Aksesori, Performance, Safety, Space) yang diberi, tiada dalam City, Vios, Forte, Altis, Civic, Swift, Fiesta. Mungkin salah asatu atau beberapa ada, tetapi bukan semua sekali gus dalam sat kereta. Ciri-ciri sebegini hanya mungkin ada dalam sebuah kereta RM130k dan keatas.
